Come to Lahemaa and experience how winter reaches out to spring!

Are you ready to enjoy flavors that combine the coziness of winter with the freshness of spring? Lahemaa Restaurant Week awaits you from March 14–23, 2025!

Nine unique restaurants will open their doors and invite you to discover special menus inspired by seasonal flavors: Vihula Manor Restaurant, Sagadi Manor Restaurant, Palmse Manor Tavern, Altja Tavern, Restaurant Wirkes at Vergi Harbor, Hara Harbor Resto, Valgejõe Veinivilla, and Home Restaurant MerMer. Additionally, Anija Manor Café, located near Lahemaa, will also be part of the event.

What can you expect?

Magnificent manor restaurants – The gems of Lahemaa, Sagadi, Palmse, and Vihula, as well as Anija Manor in the heartland, offer a delightful dining experience, enhanced by the anticipation of spring. Sagadi will serve a fresh microgreen salad and lamb rack. Palmse will present a rabbit ragout inspired by historical recipes. Vihula will offer venison fillet with spruce shoot glaze.
Anija will treat guests to a spring rhubarb cake infused with winter spices.

A unique dining experience awaits on March 15 at Valgejõe Veinivilla, where all dishes will be prepared without electricity – only on a wood stove or embers, chopped and whipped by hand, just like in an old tavern. The main course will feature sturgeon steak.

Traditional winter tavern bites can be enjoyed at Altja Tavern, featuring a hearty hot salted herring soup and a salt-cured pork fat appetizer.

Spring’s beauty combined with exquisite cuisine in Lahemaa’s seaside restaurants – the beloved Home Restaurant MerMer in Kolga-Aabla, Wirkes in Vergi Harbor, and Hara Harbor Resto. You can even arrive at Wirkes by sea, a signature experience of Northern Estonia. MerMer and Hara will serve local trout. Wirkes will offer Baltic herring fillet.
